Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our creative team. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content for various marketing campaigns, social media platforms, website features, and promotional materials. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent technical skills, and a passion for storytelling through video.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize, storyboard, and develop engaging video content that aligns with brand objectives and marketing strategies.
- Edit raw footage into polished videos that effectively convey key messages, brand identity, and storytelling elements, using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Enhance video quality by adjusting color, lighting, audio, and other technical aspects, and apply visual effects, transitions, and animations as needed to create a visually appealing and cohesive final product.
- Ensure consistency in style, tone, and brand identity across all video content, and adhere to established brand guidelines and creative direction.
- Collaborate with other team members, including designers, writers, and marketers, to integrate video content into multimedia campaigns and cross-channel marketing initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in video editing and production, and incorporate innovative techniques and technologies to enhance video quality and effectiveness.
- Manage video assets, including organizing, cataloging, and archiving footage, and maintain a library of reusable assets and templates for future projects.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements, timelines, and deliverables, and provide regular updates on project status and progress.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Digital Media, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in video editing and production, preferably in a creative agency, digital media company, or marketing environment.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools, and demonstrated expertise in video editing techniques, color correction, audio editing, and visual effects.
- Strong storytelling skills and the ability to translate creative concepts and ideas into compelling visual narratives that resonate with target audiences and drive engagement.
- Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in video codecs, compression formats, file formats, and delivery methods, and the ability to optimize video content for various platforms and devices.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards while working under tight deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements, feedback, and priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
