Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Client Relations Specialist to join our team and serve as the primary point of contact for our clients. The Client Relations Specialist will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and concerns, and driving customer satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, and build strong relationships through regular communication and engagement.
- Understand clients’ business objectives, challenges, and priorities, and provide strategic guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
- Proactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services or features to clients, and collaborate with sales and account management teams to execute on opportunities.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, including product development, customer support, and billing, to ensure timely resolution of issues and alignment on service delivery.
- Monitor client satisfaction metrics and feedback, and implement strategies to address areas for improvement and enhance overall customer experience.
- Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients, including training on platform features and best practices, troubleshooting technical issues, and responding to inquiries and requests.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation, and provide insights and recommendations to clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in client relations, account management, or customer success role, preferably in a tech startup or SaaS company.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.
- Proven track record of delivering high levels of customer satisfaction and retention, and ability to effectively manage client relationships.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and tools.
- Knowledge of PR industry, media landscape, and content publishing platforms is a plus.
