Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and strategic Public Relations Specialist to join our team. The Public Relations Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing PR strategies to build brand awareness, enhance our reputation, and secure media coverage across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute PR strategies to increase brand visibility, generate positive media coverage, and enhance our reputation in the industry.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets to secure media placements and press coverage.
• Write and distribute press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials to targeted media contacts and influencers.
• Monitor media coverage and track PR metrics, including impressions, mentions, and sentiment, to measure the effectiveness of PR campaigns.
• Coordinate media interviews, press events, and other PR initiatives to generate media interest and coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and social media, to ensure alignment of PR efforts with overall marketing strategies and business goals.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, news, and best practices in PR and media relations to identify opportunities for proactive outreach and storytelling.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in public relations or media relations, with a proven track record of success in securing media coverage and managing PR campaigns.
• Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials.
• Excellent media relations skills, with a network of contacts in the media industry.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and building relationships.
• Experience in the tech industry or PR industry is a plus.
